Author Guadlines

General Terms

  • Manuscript Authors should be in Indonesian or English and submitted online through the journal’s submission system.
  • Accepted Manuscript types are Original Research Papers and Literature Reviews.
  • Maximum number of pages allowed for original research is 8 pages, and for literature review 10 pages, excluding references

 

Script Structure

  • Script Typing should use Times New Roman typeface, 11pt font size, with a single-column format.
  • Spacing between lines is 1.15 Download Article Template

 

Title and Author Information

  • Title : Uses Capital Letters at every word start, Times New Roman font type, title font size 14pt
  • Author : Write the name of the Author first followed by Write the name of the second and third Author (if any), Times New Roman font type, size 12pt.
  • Affiliations: Include each author’s department, affiliation, city and state, using Times New Roman, 9pt size.
  • Correspondence Author : Provide the Correspondence author’s email address.

 

Abstract and keywords

  • Abstract consists of 80 – 300 words.
  • The abstract should load the title, introduction, aim, methods and results of the study
  • Keywords: write down 3 – 5 keywords separated by semicolons.

 

Script Section

  • Introduction : the content of the introduction should contain general background, literature review for scientific novelty, research problem, and research objectives and Research objectives. The introduction should measure 15 – 20% of the total length of the manuscript.
  • Research Methodology : contains Research Design, data sources, data collection techniques and data analysis.
  • Literature Review : explanation of literature selection, criteria and methods part used. This section should reach a size of 10 – 15% of the total length of the manuscript.
  • Results and discussion : displays the results of the analysis and discusses their implications, comparing them with theories or similar research findings. This section should account for 40 – 60 % of the total length of the manuscript.
  • Conclusion : a summary of the research findings, answering the research question or highlighting the essence of the results. Advance conclusions in paragraph form.
  • Acknowledgments : optional
  • References : bibliography only displays sources – cited sources, all cited sources should be displayed in the reference list. The number of reference sources for original research is at least 15 references and for literature review research at least 30 references, the references used at least 80% of the references yan used are primary research and the year of publication 80% should be published in the last 10 years. References are written in American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition format. It is recommended to use bibliographic management applications such as Mendeley, Zotero, and Endnote.

 

Tables and Figures

  • Table: Use the format provided in the template. Make sure all tables are sequentially numbered and include a clear and concise title.
  • Images: All images should be sequentially numbered and include a title.Images should be high quality and easy to read.

 

Citation Style

For all references, follow the APA 7th Edition citation style. We recommend the use of citation tools like Mendeley or Zotero.

 

Submission and Review Process

  • Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s online submission system.
  • All submissions will go through a double-blind peer review process.
  • Authors will be notified of submission status via the journal’s communication system

 

Ethical Considerations

  • Authors should ensure the integrity of their work and avoid plagiarism.
  • Any conflict of interest should be disclosed.

 

Final Manuscript Preparation

  • Ensure the final manuscript adheres to the format guidelines provided.
  • Include all required sections and make sure references are formatted correctly.
  • Corresponding authors should review the final manuscript prior to submission to ensure all authors agree on the content and order of authorship.
  • The purpose of these guidelines is to ensure consistency and quality in the submission of manuscripts to the Shines Health Journal. Conducting articles compilation according to guidelines will facilitate the review process and improve publication.
